The Septic Repair Technician is pivotal to our success, leading a team of dedicated professionals in the execution of septic and sewer projects. This role demands a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will manage daily operations, engage with clients, and ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with Operations Coordinator in the morning to go over daily route
- Explain to customer what needs to be done,Confirm approved repairs when they are done
- Explain any future repairs or work that will need to be done
- Provide an informative and accurate bill to customer
- Accept all forms of payment on job site
- Find septic tank, Dig up lids, Inspect Tank, Measure tank
- Assist in pumping the tank on occasion
- Leach line inspection and testing
- Map out leach lines
- Look for any problems - Take pictures and notate, Quote any repairs needed
- Map out system for office records
- Make repairs to tank, Install Risers, Replace Inlet and Outlet T's
- Backfill or caution tape off any open holes
- Report to office daily about all jobs in a clear and concise manner
- Map of system, Job notes, Project pictures
- Be on time for scheduled jobs or call customer to inform of any delays
- Retain knowledge of different types of pipe (SDR, ABS, PVC)
- Complete jobs in a timely manner
- Use all approved company apps appropriately (T-sheets, Slack, Jobber, Whiparound)
- Attend Chico Septic meetings
- Some simple plumbing repairs outside of house only
- Escrow Inspections & Repairs -Determined by Seller or Owner, Communicated by Realtor
- Responsible for Truck Maintenance - Clean weekly, Whiparound (daily) report any issues,
- Stocked daily for jobs, Waste tank empty when needed prior to start of weekend
- Complete required 90-day inspections
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience within the field, construction, or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in people management and team development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of septic and sewer systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain organized schedules.
- Proficiency in computer systems and reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Compensation:
- Full-Time position
- Hourly rate of $20.00 - $23.00, based on experience.
