Relief Services is looking for a dependable Yard Laborer / Service Support Technician to help maintain our portable sanitation equipment, support daily yard operations, and assist with customer deliveries.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in keeping equipment clean, organized, and ready for customers. The right candidate will be reliable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and willing to learn multiple aspects of our operation.

Relief Services provides essential field services and sanitation solutions for residential, commercial, and special event customers throughout Northern California. As part of our team, you will play an important role in maintaining equipment quality and delivering dependable service to our customers.

What You Will Do

Maintain and Prepare Portable Sanitation Equipment

• Clean and sanitize portable restroom units to meet company quality standards.
• Inspect units for cleanliness, appearance, and basic functionality.
• Perform minor repairs and replace damaged parts when needed.
• Ensure rental units are prepared and ready for customer use.

Support Yard Operations

• Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, including cleaning materials and customer supplies.
• Keep the yard and equipment areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist team members with daily operational needs.
• Help ensure equipment is properly maintained and available when needed.

Assist With Deliveries and Field Support

• Operate company vehicles safely to assist with portable restroom deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
• Provide relief driving support during vacations, sick leave, and emergency coverage.
• Assist with temporary fencing setup by moving and positioning fence panels, stands, and materials.
• Assist with dumpster delivery operations, including transporting 15- and 20-yard dumpsters using company equipment.

Work as Part of a Team

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Support a positive customer experience through reliable and professional service.

Required Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trailer hauling or delivery work.
• Experience operating trucks, trailers, or similar equipment.
• Previous experience in a maintenance, warehouse, landscaping, construction, delivery, or outdoor labor role.

Training is available for the right candidate.
